Each class is provided with a field trip to help enhance the learning experience.   Within Fairfax County School’s budget the school is only funded for 2 field trips.   PTA helps raise funds to provide the other 5 or 6 trips.   Generally the field trips’ costs involve transportation which means PTA pays FCPS approximately $350 for the driver, fuel, and other incidental costs.

However, every year the 4th Grade takes a trip to Jamestown to help supplement their standards of learning on how Virginia was settled.   This trip involves charter buses due to the distance and there is an admission fee to enter Jamestown Settlement.   This trip is something all students look forward to as they move up grades.
